Our Business Model had its genesis in our inquiry, “how can we make our R&D based organization more competitive and effective?” This involves consistent and coherent choices across architecture, processes, people, and portfolios. Our business model combines the ‘Vertically integrated supply chain model’ and ‘Disintermediation Model’. The vertically integrated supply chain model is about owning and managing the supply chain activities (manufacture, distribution, and retail) for its products by the company itself. The organizations following the disintermediation model deal with the clients and customers directly via different channels.
